Hood College Earns Spots in National College Rankings
Hood College named “Best Value” in Maryland by U.S. News & World Report, among other national rankings and recognitions
Hood College has earned rankings and recognition from multiple college guides, reviews and ranking services as one of the best institutions in the nation.
Hood College is the top-ranked Maryland institution in U.S. News & World Report’s Northern Regional “Best Value” list, determined by academic quality and meeting the financial needs of students. Hood also ranked among the top colleges and universities in Maryland in the “Overall” and “Social Mobility” categories.
For the third year in a row, Hood College was named as a College of Distinction, with Hood’s nursing, business and education majors being recognized as programs of distinction.
Hood College’s Master’s in Business Administration program was featured in Washington Monthly’s annual College Guide as a top program for social mobility, research, and promoting public service. Research.com also named the program as one of the “Best MBA Degree Programs in America” in their annual rankings.
The Princeton Review named Hood College as one of the best schools in the Mid-Atlantic region based on information gathered from current Hood undergraduate and graduate students.
Hood College earned a Retention Award from Leading Colleges based on graduation rate and overall student success.
