Poet Elisa Gabbert Gives Reading

FREDERICK, Maryland—Poet Elisa Gabbert will give a poetry reading and discuss the craft of poetry writing at Hood College on March 5 at 7 p.m. in the Marx Center.

Gabbert is the author of three poetry collections: “L’Heure Bleue, or the Judy Poems” (2016), “The Self Unstable” (2013) and “The French Exit” (2010). “The Self Unstable” was chosen by the New Yorker as one of the best books of 2013. Gabbert’s work has appeared in the New Yorker, the Boston Review, the Paris Review Daily, the Pacific Standard, Guernica, the Awl, Electric Literature, the Harvard Review, the Threepenny Review, Real Life, Catapult, Jubilat, Diagram and many other venues.
