Biography
Katie is an Adjunct Instructor in the Coastal Studies Program. Her history with Hood goes a long ways back, where she used to be in the Coastal Studies Program herself! Since then, she had worked both at FCC and Hood, teaching in both Departments of Biology, with a focus on sociological perspectives within the Environmental Science realm. Katie took on the role of Coastal Studies Coordinator in 2021-2024. This coming Fall, she will be teaching Human Impacts on the Chesapeake Bay.

- MA in Social Sciences, Environment and Community Program, Humboldt State University.
