The minor in management is designed to introduce non-business majors to the world of organizations, supervision and administration.
You will receive an introductory knowledge of how to effectively plan, organize, lead and control resources to achieve organizational purpose and goals.
The minor will provide you an overview of the different theoretical approaches to managing organizations. You'll have the opportunity to apply these to actual problem-solving and decision-making situations across private, public and nonprofit sectors through empirical projects and case studies.
It emphasizes the role of leadership, motivation and interpersonal dynamics in affecting organizational transformation to deal with global, economic, technological and demographic changes.
