"WiCyS is where the recruitment, retention and advancement of women in cybersecurity happens."
We aim to decrease the gender disparity in the field of cybersecurity while providing support, mentorship, training, networking opportunities, and access to industry and academic leaders. Our Hood chapter facilitates career development, provides education, mentorship, and networking support to students through the WiCyS community. Although WiCyS is an organization founded to promote women’s participation in cybersecurity, male students, who support the organization's credo, are welcome to become members of our chapter.
