Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE)

Upsilon Pi Epsilon Honor Society - Hood College,  Pi Chapter of Maryland

Upsilon Pi Epsilon is an honor society founded in 1967 to recognize scholarship and professionalism in the Computing Sciences. It is the only international honor society in the Computing Sciences. UPE has been officially recognized by both the ACM and by the IEEE Computer Society.

The Pi Chapter of Maryland of UPE was founded in the Spring of 2019.  Professor Dimitoglou has been the founding faculty responsible for establishing the local chapter and served as the chapter's first advisor. The Charter Ceremony for the Chapter was performed on December 3, 2019.
