Hood Ready - Summer 2025
Visit campus for Hood Ready: a one-day, on-campus experience where you'll meet faculty and staff, get to know Peer Mentors, complete next steps for enrollment, get your campus ID, tour campus, and connect with resources across campus. Parent(s) and guest(s) will have a tailored Hood Ready schedule as well.
First-year students and transfer students with less than 15 credits, choose one of the following dates:
- July 10
- July 17
- July 25
Transfer students with 15 or more credits:
- July 31
- 9 a.m. | Check-in | Whitaker Campus Center, Atrium
- Students will receive their welcome folders and name tags.
Light refreshments will be available.

- 9:30 a.m. | Welcome | Hodson Auditorium, Rosenstock Hall
- Students and guests will receive a warm Hood Hello from the Dean of Students.

- 9:50 a.m. | Split into Student Groups and Parent/Guest Sessions
- Students will break out into Peer Mentor groups; guests will be provided with an overview of the schedule.

- 1 p.m. | ID Pick-up and Evaluation Submission | Whitaker Campus Center, Atrium
- All Day | Commuter Lounge Open for Parents/Guests | Whitaker Campus Center, Second Level
- Families and guests are invited to visit the Commuter Lounge at any point during the day. We welcome you to bring a laptop and utilize our guest Wi-Fi or complete necessary paperwork. Snacks and beverages will be available.
