Save the Sellinger Program

Through the Sellinger Program, the State of Maryland provides grant money to eligible independent colleges and universities, including Hood College. These grants are used to provide scholarship support to students and support Maryland’s goals for higher education. Hood provides these resources directly to our students.  In doing so, we advance our mission, enrich the State's workforce, and fuel innovation and economic growth in our region.

 

Your efforts in the letter writing campaign last month made a difference. Through a statewide campaign organized by the Maryland Independent College and University Association (MICUA), we are asking you to thank the legislators who played a critical role in preserving the Sellinger program.

 

We appreciate your advocacy on behalf of Hood students who rely on this State support. Together, we DID save Sellinger.
